Waiting and Waiting

Today we only had two groups. One group went to build a house and the other group went back out to Didasko for day two of VBS. We also lost about 9 of our crew today, the Florida Keys group traveled back to the US, but we also gained 12 new people from various different places.

This is how we say goodbye.

Yesterday's house build team.

So we had three places to go yesterday and only 2 buses....therefore one group had to wait at Villa Gracia until a bus came back. While we were waiting we had plenty to do for the hour, we had to break down food, practice the VBS skit, and bag up the food that we broke down.

Trick or treating

This little guy is such a hard worker, his birthday is Sunday!
He will be 2 years old, he has been such a blessing on this trip and we will
miss him dearly as he goes home today!

So we got to work and were able to finish all of the work we needed to do. Then we waited. And we waited some more. And we waited some  more. Finally around 11:45 we were given a little information about the bus, which was suppose to be back at 9:30. The bus had a flat tire which first had to get air in to allow the bus to go to the first drop off location and then it had to go and actually be repaired.

Finally  around noon we were able to get on our way out to Didasko. As soon as we arrived we had to unload some fresh fruit and food bags and get started with the VBS. Our VBS skit today as about Abram and the promise that God made to him about his family becoming a great nation.

Ryan and this little girl were such a cute pair the last two days.
He did an amazing job making her smile.

Once the skit was finished we had some time to play with the kids again. I spent most of my time with my two girls Norma and Rosa.

When we arrived back at Villa Gracia we were able to celebrate two birthdays. Connor who is turning 2 and Jenny Lovell who is celebrating her birthday. We had cake, fruit cobbler, a fruit salad, and fresh guacamole.

Today is going to be a relatively easy day. We will shop at Mi Esperanze and go out to the Valley of Angels.
