Sandia Fiesta

What an amazing day! When getting ready for groups I was determined that I would not build again but God had different plans and I once again ended up on the house build team. So we got all our tools ready and on the bus and I ask Tricky where we are build to which he replys Mololoah. I am pretty sure I got the biggest smile on my face that mo one could have possible got off! So we pull into Mololoah and get off the bus, right away I saw two of my boys and soo pn after my little 5 year old Calvin comes running down the mountain and straigt into my arms.

Many people got to ride up in Marks truck to the build site but with my kids there I decided to walk with them. The build was not to far up the mountsin so I was glad for that! When we got to the site we had to move the wood closer to the site,  we had lots of help, even my 5 year old Calvin and his sister were moving boards together.

The site was very close together, with the number of people and kiddos we did not have much room to move around. We had a wall about 5 inches from a dirt wall and a wall about 5 inches from a cliff. After getting the boards moved the others had most of the post holes dug so I got to work on the wall that was about 5 inches from the dirt wall. It was not easy nailing in those nails but somehow we all managed to get it done. By the time we finished theynhad already begun on the floor so I took a turn watching our backpacks, Mololoah has many kids that will steal from us so we try to always have a person on backpack duty.

I then took over helping to finish the flooring. Then my real fun began because there were so many peole that I was able to spend the remainder of my day with my little boy Calvin. I had such a great time holding him and lauging with him. A short while later Mark came up with two large watermelons for us to cut up and eat. Calvin was so cute eating the watermelon, he went back for more about 3 or 4 times.

We got back to the Mission House around 3:00 and had a little bit of time to get cleaned up before going on a trip. We had plans to goto the Jesus statue earlier in the week but those didn't work so we got to go last night. Tim Hines gave a wonderful devo about never forgetting that even after we leave the poverty here does not leave, they still are living the same when we leave here. He told us we were doing a wonderful job but that there is still more work to be done and things that will constantly need to be prayed for.

When we got back from the statue Scott and I played our spades rematch against Taylor and Dan. Scott an I prevailed and had pretty much a perfect game aside from picking up some bags.
