I can not believe we are already half way through our Costa Rice trip! We had a bit of an easy morning because out time slot at the school was from 1:00-2:30 so we slept in till about 8 and then worked in the morning, practicing puppets, etc.
We had one group of students at the school today. We also met the English teacher at the school and got to participate some in teaching the students English numbers, letters, and simple words.
Our VBS was on Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead. We talked about what it takes to be a good friend to other people. The craft to go along with it was two cut out hand prints. We taped them together and wrote a quality of a good friend on each hand.

After crafts we had some time to play with the students. We played soccer, had tickel fights, played blob, and more. Its always so fun just taking time to goof off with the children.
A quality of a good friend is David...apparently everything about him is a good friend!
When we got back to the camp we had about an hour to get ready and then had dinner and went out to the church for VBS and the gospel meeting. We had about 50 people in total.
When we got back we played a short game before heading off to bed. Everyone picked a random name and we tried to guess who made which name. When someone guessed your name you joined their empire. We had a great time and had some interesting names like Jake, Jazias, Anastasia, etc.
